Climbing up the ladder, what do I see?
People all around the world that seem a lot like me
Needing food and water, jobs to build a nest
Someone to love, a chance to be their best

Climbing down the ladder, what do I do?
Work so all the things I need are there for others too
Jobs to earn a living, food and water pure
Freedom from fear, a future that's secure
